This Privacy Policy provides you with details of how Nicola Fowler Nutrition collects and uses your personal data when you agree to a nutritional consultation or engage her nutritional services. If you have a complaint about how we collect and use your data, please contact Nicola Fowler in the first instance so that we can try to resolve it. 2. What is personal data
Personal data means any information capable of identifying an individual. This could include:
· Identity data (including name, date of birth, marital status, gender, occupation)

· Health and lifestyle data (including consent forms, medical history, diet and other lifestyle information)
· Financial and transaction data (including bank account and payment card details)
When providing information, you expressly consent to Nicola Fowler Nutrition using your personal information in accordance with this privacy policy.

We collect your data when you complete forms and return them to us; when you submit a food and/or drink diary; and when communicating by any means such as a consultation (virtual or in person), by phone or email.
4. What we do with your personal data
We will only use your personal data when legally permitted to and for the purpose of individual nutritional consultations/to provide you with the services you have requested. The data you provide will help us to ensure that the individual nutrition and diet advice we give is tailored to you.
5. Disclosure of your personal data
We do not disclose any data collected, except for certain types of data where it is legally required for reporting purposes to HM Revenue & Customs, regulators and other authorities based in the United Kingdom and other relevant jurisdictions.
All medical and personal information provided will be kept strictly confidential unless consent to share this information is given in writing.

We are committed to ensuring that your personal data is secure and have put in place appropriate measures to safeguard the information we collect. Written records and documents are stored in a locked cupboard and digital data is password protected and held on a password protected computer.
7. Data retention
We will only retain your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected. By law, we are required to keep basic client information (including contact, identity, financial and transactional data) for seven years for tax purposes.
8. Access to your data
You may request access to or a correction of the personal data we hold about you under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We will try to respond to all requests within one month; if it takes longer, we will notify you and keep you updated.
