my story
I love to cook and feed my family and friends, and spent many years working in the food industry - firstly in food public relations and communications. I quickly discovered the thing I most enjoyed was being in the kitchen on photographic shoots, helping to create inspiring images of delicious food. For the next 20 years, I worked as a freelance food stylist with some of the UK’s top food photographers, developed recipes for food companies and magazines and wrote a children’s cookery book.
I became increasingly interested in the science of how our bodies use the nutrients in food and how the way we eat can have an enormous impact on our health. So I decided to go back to education and emerged four years later with a First Class degree in Human Nutrition.
I now enjoy helping people find a way of eating that is right for them, suits their circumstances and contributes to health and wellbeing at all stages of life.
